ABSTRACT Handcrafts have emerged since human beings, depending on natural conditions. He has given purpose and first examples of covering people's needs, covering and protecting them. The handicrafts, which developed later and changed according to the environmental conditions, have gained "traditional" qualities, reflecting the emotions, artistic pleasures and cultural characteristics of the society that they have emerged. Traditional Turkish handicrafts have created a rich mosaic by combining their own values with the cultural heritage of various civilizations from the thousands of years of Anatolia. When the cultural history of the Turkish nation, which has a very rich handicraft potency, is examined, it has been seen that by using creative power centuries ago, it has assessed the raw materials obtained from mines, stones, plants and animals and made various necessities. They were influenced by the cultures they met in the way of migration from Central Asia to Anatolia and created rich handicrafts extending to day-to-day. The Turks must have a large and rich cultural accumulation due to the civilizations they built in Anatolia, Central Asia and Anatolia, and this accumulation is an important factor in Anatolia being filled with the treasures of handicrafts everywhere and Anatolia is known as an arts and culture center. has been the factor.
