Abstract

SOCIAL SECURITY IN THE FRAMEWORK OF ETHICAL THEORIES

Social security is a citizenship right. Today, social security practices continue with public support, and they face obstacles due to insufficient resources. Among the aims of social security is the idea of providing a fair service. In order to talk about the existence of justice, firstly, the conditions for individuals or citizens to claim something must be defined. It is another condition of social security that the determination of the claimant is done by a person and how the rights granted are given in a fair manner. Ethical theories have formed the paradigms of the decisions used and applied in the application of social security laws in the ethical sense. Social security practices are evaluated within the context of ethical principles and gain meaning. The paradigms of ethical theories focus not only on what concepts are, but also on different approaches in practical practice. In this study, social security practices in the context of ethical theories are examined.
