Abstract

STATUS OF COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) PANDEMIC IN TURKEY AND FUTURE STATUS ANALYSIS ACCORDING TO ALGORITHMIC CALCULATION

Viruses have been effective throughout history and have led to the loss of thousands of lives. The history of coronaviruses, another of these viruses, is not very old. It is a member of the virus family previously known as SARS and MERS. SARS originated in the Far East in 2002-2003, and MERS originated in Saudi Arabia in 2012. COVID 19 was seen for the first time in Wuhan, China on 31 December 2019. The outbreak spread to other countries in the Far East as soon as a month later. The virus has started to appear in the Americas, Europe and Africa in such a short period of time. The virus was then seen for the first time in Turkey on March 11. After the first virus, very strict measures were taken, but the virus could not be stopped. In Turkey, where the number of people who die with infected people increases every minute, control of the virus has not been fully achieved. Because compared to the number of tests done, the number of infected people is around 15%. To be able to predict how this process will progress in Turkey, an analysis has been done. As a result of this analysis, future values were estimated using time-dependent data and the AAA version of the exponential correction (ETS) algorithm on the rate of spread of coronavirus in Turkey and the deaths it will cause in the coming days.
