Abstract


THE EFFECT OF 8 WEEKS MINI-TRAMPOLINE EXERCISES ON BODY COMPOSITION APPLIED TO WOMEN OVER 25 YEARS OLD

Objective: It is aimed to determine the effect of mini trampoline exercises on body composition .Material and Methods: 50 women between the ages of 25 and 40 who participated in regular mini trampoline exercises participated in the study. Height, weight, waist and hip values of women were taken before exercise, 4 weeks after exercise and 8 weeks after exercise. Exercise was performed 30 minutes 3 days a week for 8 weeks. In the research, Repeated Measures NAOVA was performed and Greenhouse-Geisser test method was examined to test the independent variable among the groups. Results: As a result of the analysis, it is seen that the mini trampoline exercise made a positive difference between the participants in the body mass index values and waist / hipratio of the women. Conclusion: Mini-trampoline exercise has a positive effect on body mass index values and waist / hipratios of women over 25 years of age. It is recommended that this exercise be applied to individuals at risk of obesity and that the exercise is supervised by a sports trainer.
