The purpose of this research is to explore the opinions of classroom teachers about parent apathy in-depth and to offer solutions to increase the interest of parents. In the research, the phenomenological design has been used within the framework of the qualitative research approach. The study group of the research consists of 12 classroom teachers who work in schools with little parental interest in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province. They have been determined by the critical situation sampling technique, one of the purposeful sampling methods. The data of the study has been collected using a semi-structured interview form consisting of 6-item open-ended questions prepared by the researchers. Expert opinion has been obtained in the development of the interview questions. According to the data obtained, the participants list the reasons for parent apathy as following; financial problems, workload, crowded family structure, education level, carelessness, and fragmented family structure. The participants have offered some solutions to increase the interest of parents. They are organizing educational meetings, having a low number of children, making home visits, communication, courses, gifts, and directing projects throughout the country. At the end of the research, the researchers have some solution suggestions such as doing activities that will make parents love the school, finding and eliminating the source of parents' indifference, and doing cultural activities for parents.
