Abstract


ATTEMPT OF PARENTS TO TEACH TEACHERS OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION

The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of parents' attitudes on teachers' performances and students' success. This research has been conducted by the qualitative research method. The study group of this research has been determined by criterion sampling, one of the purposeful sampling techniques. All data has been collected by semi-structured interview technique with eight determined classroom teachers. These interviews have been made using a phone due to the pandemic process; the data obtained has been recorded and arranged. All data has been analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. As a result of the obtained data, it was revealed that when parents tried to teach teachers the teaching profession, they reduced teachers 'motivation and negatively affected students' academic achievement. Consequently, this research has been finalized by creating some suggestions.
