From the history of Kyrgyz nation - the own folk philosophy, ethno psychology and lifestyle for many centuries were formed with the beliefs of their ancestors. These beliefs have found their place in everyday life as an important part of the Kyrgyz people. Kyrgyz people have sustained their life in ancient times with beliefs such as fetishism, totemism, shamanism and most recently Celestial Belief (Gok Tengrizm). Later, their belief has changed by accepting Islam. However, it is known that some elements of beliefs from the old period are still remaining. We clearly can see most of the beliefs through Kyrgyz literature, philosophy and their daily life. The Manas Epic, that is the national epic of the elderly and the Kyrgyz people, has played an important role in the reach of popular beliefs until today. These were passed from mouth to mouth being transferred to later generations and turned into a popular belief with the time flow. Nowadays Kyrgyz people have many folk beliefs. But in this research we have discussed about some beliefs and impact on individuals which actively exist among the people. Their titles are; beliefs about children and about having children, the habit of putting name, about the white color, the graveyard, Umay Ana, Albarsti and the other beliefs.
