Abstract

COMPARISON OF TEACHER TRAINING AND APPOINTMENTS IN TURKEY AND FRANCE EDUCATION SYSTEMS

The main aim of this research is to examine the training and appointment of teachers in the education systems of Turkey and France. Within the framework of these objectives, the general factors of teacher training and appointment in Turkey and France education systems, the principles of education systems, the goals of society determined for these systems, and the organizational structure of the system were examined. The issues of appointment and training of the training personnel involved in these systems were examined. The numerical data used in this study are based on the official numerical data of the French homeland for the French education system from the official web page of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey for the education system. Numerical data of trans-sea cities and overseas territories were used in the data that could not be obtained from the numerical data related to the motherland. As a result of this research: teaching has become a profession in France, and in Turkey, there is a search along with trying to create a infrastructure for it. In France, the teacher has reached a saturation both numerically and qualitatively, while in Turkey there are problems with both quality and quantity meaning. Although teachers are appointed in different ways in France, Turkey has been constantly changing the system in recent years. In France, there is intensive in-service training for teachers, but in-service training in Turkey is largely optional.
