Abstract
Günümüzde dijitalleşme ve sayısal teknolojilerin pek çok üretim alanında etkili olması tekstil üretim ve tasarım süreçlerinin hızlanmasına neden olmaktadır. Diğer yandan tasarım ve üretim süreçlerinin hızlanması, dijitalleşme ve sayısal teknolojilerin önem kazandığı tasarım eğitimine olan ihtiyacı büyütmektedir. Çalışmada, bir yandan tekstil endüstrisi ve moda tasarımı bakımından büyük önem taşıyan yüzey yaratımıyla ilgili alanlara değinilirken, öte yandan tasarımcının lif çeşidi, kumaş terbiyesi ve baskı teknikleri ile yüzey tasarımına ilişkin temel prensipler hakkında bilgi ve deneyim sahibi olması gerektiği vurgulanmaktadır. Zira baskı, örme ya da dokuma malzemeler kullanılarak işlenen ürün tasarımları ancak tekstil tasarım ilkelerinin bir plan dâhilinde doğru uygulanabilmesiyle mümkün olabilir. Tekstil tasarımı çoğu zaman moda tasarımı altında çok fazla ortaya çıkmasa da yaratıcı tekstil yüzeyleri olmadan moda tasarımının popülerliği öne çıkmazdı. Dolayısıyla yaratıcılığın öznesi olduğu tasarım süreçlerinde geleneksel çizim ve boyama tekniklerinin yanı sıra dijitalleşmenin sağladığı bir dizi avantaj tasarım ve üretimde kullanılmaktadır. Çalışmada tasarımcı perspektifinden tekstil tasarım ve üretim süreçlerine ilişkin durum analizi yapılmakta ve sayısal teknolojilerin etkinlik kazandığı tasarım ve üretim süreçlerinde tasarımcının sahip olması gereken nitelikler tartışılmaktadır.

Abstract
Nowadays, digital technologies being effective in many production areas cause the acceleration of textile production and design processes. On the other hand, the acceleration of design and production processes increases the need for design education, where digitalization and digital technologies gain importance. In the study, on the one hand, areas related to surface creation, which are of great importance in terms of the textile industry and fashion design, are mentioned, on the other hand, it is emphasized that the designer should have knowledge and experience about the basic principles of fiber type, fabric finishing and printing techniques, and surface design. Because, product designs processed using printing, knitted or woven materials can only be possible with the correct application of textile design principles within a plan. While textile design often doesn't show up much under fashion design, fashion design's popularity wouldn't exist without creative textile surfaces. Therefore, in design processes where creativity is the subject, besides traditional drawing and painting techniques, a number of advantages provided by digitalization are used in design and production. In the study, a situation analysis of textile design and production processes is made from the perspective of the designer and the qualifications that the designer should have in the design and production processes where digital technologies are effective are discussed.
