Abstract
Değerler eğitimi; insanın birlikte yaşama arzusu var olduğu sürece insanlık tarihinde yer alacaktır. Son yıllarda eğitim camiasında en fazla üzerinde durulan konular içerisinde yer almaktadır. Toplumun ahlaki ve manevi değerlerini gelecek nesillere aktarabilmek için bireyleri eğitmek gerekmekte, buda okullarda değerler eğitimini verilmesini zorunlu kılmaktadır. Çünkü okullar bilginin bilgisizlikten, sosyal düzenin düzenlenmesinde toplumun temel yapı yatışını oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma okullarda değerler eğitimin niçin olması gerektiği, okullarda verilen değer örnekleri hakkında bilgi verecektir.
