This study focuses on the works of Bill Viola, one of the important representatives of video, one of the important art disciplines, in which he presents the ideas behind basic human experiences such as birth, death and consciousness aspects to the audience through video. In addition to the visuality offered by video art, his works that draw the viewer into both sound and image and allow the listeners to get in touch with their emotions, allowing them to feel the adventure within the time period of death and life, have been examined.
American artist Bill Viola, who has an important reputation with his video works in world art, mostly deals with universally accepted issues of birth, death, gender, destiny and spirituality. The death of her son and mother, who were born simultaneously in 1988, deeply affected Viola. These two accidental events deepened the artist's spirituality and led him to work on life and death-oriented subjects.
Art, which has a positive effect on the mood of the individual, can also be inspiring in producing new things. Through various artistic forms such as painting, sculpture, and music, people can create reactive creations in the face of events they are affected by. Artist Viola conveyed the deep feelings she experienced in her life with video, a form of contemporary art. Having a major role in the use of video as an art form, Viola focuses on questioning cognitive processes by using image and sound in an impressive and complex way in her works.
Creating works that question life events through a contemporary production form, Viola reveals visual and emotional tendencies. Touching on the effects of existence and extinction on human life, the artist leaves a questioning effect on the audience with his artistic performances.

One of the institutions developed for the care of children under the protection of the state is the foster family system. In this study, the functioning of the system, the control of the labor of foster families, which are the most important subjects of this process, and the management of their feelings against the control mechanism are argued as the main problem. The aim of the study is to describe the emotional labor and emotion management of the foster family during the care process. In the study was used Multi-stage mixed design. Thus, in Turkey, emotional labor and emotion management processes of foster families were analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the foster family system in Turkey meets the expectations, they adopt these children, whom they take under the protection of the foster families, as their biological children, and they spend an intense emotional effort on the children they care for. It has been understood that foster families are more attentive because they see these children as trusts. In addition, foster families stated that they do not seek economic profit because they spend "immaterial labor". In the face of the control mechanism, they stated that they were mostly uneasy and exerted emotional labor by using emotion management.

Although art was used as a language before the invention of writing, the meaning that has been loaded and included from the past to the present is much deeper. According to the data of art history, painting, which is the oldest art form, and later sculpture, were objects and visuals created in line with needs rather than being a work of art for the owners. Over time, craftsmen became artists, and works of art were oriented in the direction of thought, attitude and action expressed in terms of content and form. With the advancement of science and technology, the artist's sources of inspiration, and the methods and materials he used have also changed and developed. In this art movement, there is the use of the psychological analysis method, a branch of science, in surrealistic object design and the production of works. Within the scope of the article, "Surrealism", which weighs on a period and whose effects are felt in many areas, has been studied. In the research, this hypnosis, automatism with hallucination, decalcomania as a print technique and oneiric were investigated, and photography and exotic masks were also included as an ethnographic view. The study aims to contribute to future researchers by examining surrealists' disciplines and methods as an interdisciplinary approach in their production.

The issue of the attributes of Allah (as-sifat Allah) is one of the most important issues that has been discussed since the first period of Islamic history. There is almost no mazhab kalam that does not speak about the attributes of Allah. Each sect (mazhab) interpreted these attributes according to their own method, thus different interpretations emerged around the subject. Akhbar as-sifat, which make us think that Allah has human characteristics at first glance, is one of the first issues that are discussed about as-sifat Allah. The early scholars avoided commenting on akhbar as-sifat. However, with the emergence of opinions that go to extremes in interpreting such attributes and attribute their human characteristics to Allah, it has become necessary to interpret these attributes with an Islamic perspective. Ahl as-Sunnah scholars intervened here and interpreted these attributes in the light of the Qur'an, Sunnah and rational principles. Thus, excessive interpretations were prevented and people were diverted from wrong orientations threatening their creed (etiqad). In the article, what kind of interpretations the Ahl as-Sunnah theologians, including Ash'aris and Maturidis, brought to these attributes and the evidences on which these interpretations are based will be examined chronologically.

This article deals with the religious cults and rituals that contain the elements of traditional Turkic religion which was carried from Turkistan to Anatolia. Alevi and Sunni Turks and Turkmens, the majority of whom are Muslims, have maintained a significant part of their old pre-Islamic beliefs under the guise of Islam. The most well-known of these beliefs are the cult of ancestors, the cult of soil-water and the cult of sacrifice. In this study, the Jam ritual, which is one of the most important religious rituals of Anatolian Alevism, was examined from the perspective of traditional Turkic religion. When the basic elements and phenomena peculiar to the Jam were considered carefully, significant similarities between them and the pre-Islamic beliefs were observed. For example, the presence of a spiritual Grandfather leading the Jam ceremony, the attribution of a high spiritual status to Dede, the existence of a language of worship, the participation of women in worship, the religious function attributed to the baglama (a famous musical instrument), the presence of a bard during the ceremony, and the Samah performance (whirling) are some of these similarities. While evaluating such similarities, firstly the prototypical beliefs existed in the pre-Islamic beliefs of the Turks were mentioned, and then their reflections or traces on the Jam ritual were explained.

The letter type, whose history is as old as the history of writing, has maintained its importance in every period and has been used effectively for Turkish literature, which has developed under the influence of Islam, as in all world literatures. In particular, the fact that the function of the letter and the life view of the Sufis, who constitute an important part of the poets of Turkish literature, and the mission they undertook matched exactly, provided this genre to have a solid place in our literature. Members of Sufi Turkish literature frequently wrote letters in order to convey their religious beliefs and mystical views to both their contemporaries and future generations, and when these letters formed a total, they were published in a book. In this study, the work titled Tezkire-i Sueda, which contains the letters of two important Sufis who lived in the late 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th century, and explains some of the basic issues of Sufism, has been examined. The transcribed work was examined in terms of form and content.

The Chagatai Khanate, whose foundations were laid in 1227 after Genghis Khan, was organized as a Turko-Mongol tribal confederation. In the beginning, the khan family was ruled by the ehieftains and commanders who had power but were not members of the dynasty. Especially in the Transoxiana part of Western Turkestan, these commanders legitimized their administration by using a puppet khan descended from Genghis Khan. The 14th century, when the nation’s commanders, known as Mirza, began to gain power In the middle, the Chagatai nation was covering a wide area. These areas included Transoxiana and the northern and eastern parts of Afghanistan. The population of these places consisted of settled people based on agriculture and nomadic Turco-Mongol tribes. While the nomads determined the political power, the settled people were influential in the economic life. The comanders who rose from the tribes ruled independently in the regions they ruled. In this study the struggles of the Chagatai in west Turkestan before the establishment of the Timurid state will be explained.

In this research, which was carried out with the qualitative research method, it was tried to reach the data by looking at articles, books, internet documents. Digital art and illustration are products of graphic design processes. These formations, which use the infrastructure of technology, have generally brought together a series of images that reach the end user. Today, new markets have been opened with the impact of the industrial formation of computer-based (CAD) graphics. Along with the technology that leads to the fusion or adoption of manifestos and philosophies or cultures, the effect of illustration techniques in conveying messages with different materials cannot be ignored. The power of the image and the philosophy behind it has revealed the inevitable to have a say in this virtual market that always leads through art. Diversification of culturally-based arts… ASCII Art is usually black-and-white printouts prepared by contrasting texts (such as c, c++, java) created with software, either white-on-black or black-on-white characters via console-based or printer. It is possible to define it as a graphic art product in which the tonnage transition is achieved by combining the characters in different ways (interpolation). ASCII art, which entered our lives through printers in the past, and graphical objects (ASCII graphics) that came together from images created with the character-based message writing techniques of old mobile phones, diversified over time and started to form new images and make a name for themselves with unique methods. This formation has brought with it image diversification and adoption of the ideas behind it.
