Linguistic Memory Engineering: Modern Strategies for Addressing Vocabulary Attrition among Non- Native Arabic Learners.

This study addresses the phenomenon of "vocabulary attrition" as a fundamental challenge impeding communicative competence among non-native learners of Arabic. The paper aims to diagnose the methodological and cognitive factors underlying this phenomenon, attributing it primarily to the prevalence of traditional teaching methods. These methods often rely on isolated "list-based approaches" and rote memorization devoid of semantic and functional context, resulting in information being stored in short-term memory and rapidly decaying.

Based on this diagnosis, the study presents an innovative remedial approach conceptualized as "Linguistic Memory Engineering." This approach integrates active teaching strategies—such as the Contextual Approach, Guided Drama, and Immersive Multimodal Gamification—with the biological principles of memory. The research proposes an applied model that capitalizes on the "Generative Root Logic" of the Arabic language to generate vocabulary and construct interconnected mental networks. This is implemented in parallel with the employment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Spaced Repetition Systems (SRS) to ensure the necessary exposure frequency for retention (ranging from 8 to 16 times). The study concludes by introducing a procedural matrix for measuring "Four-Stage Mastery" (Reception, Production, Contextualization, and Processing). It recommends a strategic shift from random vocabulary presentation to "Semantic Clustering" and "Smart Repetition," ensuring the transfer of linguistic inventory from a passive, dormant state to an active, functional state in long-term memory.

Transformation of Muhammed Siyah Kalem Miniature Works into Ai-Assisted Animations: a Technical and Aesthetic Analysis

The miniature works identified with the name of Muhammad Siyah Qalam and preserved in the albums of the Topkapi Palace Museum Library are unique examples representing a radical departure from the idealized aesthetic norms of classical Islamic art. Carrying the traces of 15th-century Central Asian and Silk Road culture, these works possess a strong pre-cinematic narrative potential with their figurative dynamism, grotesque deformations, and anatomical structures that harbor a "promise of motion". This study analyzes the process of transforming Siyah Qalam miniatures, which are static cultural heritage, into digital animations through current Large Vision-Language Models (LVLM) and advanced diffusion architectures from both technical and aesthetic perspectives. Within the scope of the research, the "Holistic Scene Motion" approach, which eliminates the risk of spatial disconnection caused by traditional segmentation methods, was adopted; instead of methods defining bone systems for figures, "Depth-Aware Latent Diffusion" technology was utilized. In this process, monocular depth maps of the static image were extracted to synthesize movements consistent with the ontological intent of the figures. The findings demonstrate that artificial intelligence can synthesize consistent video sequences while preserving Siyah Qalam's extreme aesthetic codes, such as "bone-muscle exaggeration," and maintaining stylistic fidelity. The study holds an original value in providing a methodological guide for the transformation of static archives into a "living heritage" ecosystem and preventing the perceptual detachment observed in new generation audiences.

The Challenges of Paralympic Sports: Psychological and Social Barriers

This research aims to analyze the psychological and social barriers faced by athletes in Paralympic sports from a historical perspective. The phenomenon of disability has been addressed in the context of societal perspectives, administrative choices, and restrictive environmental factors that transform this condition into a limitation, rather than merely the individual's biological deficiencies. In the study, a comprehensive literature review was conducted using the descriptive analysis method, and the obtained data were interpreted with a systematic approach. In light of the findings, it has been determined that the perception of the "perfect body" and strict esthetic standards in the modern sports world create serious psychological pressure and a feeling of being "non-standard" among Paralympic athletes. However, regular training processes and especially team sports have been observed to foster a resilient self-perception, high self-confidence, and social skill development in individuals against these pressures. On a societal level, despite the increased media visibility of the Paralympic Games, it is observed that economic factors such as physical accessibility issues, transportation limitations, and high equipment costs still pose significant obstacles for athletes. In conclusion, it has been determined that Paralympic sports are not just a physical competition arena, but a strategic tool that accelerates social integration, breaks the feeling of "learned helplessness," and enhances the level of psychosocial well-being. It is also clearly seen that individuals with disabilities, thru sports, shed passive definitions and transform into successful, active, and socially accepted figures in society. In this context, it is critically important to develop multidimensional support mechanisms to ensure that the Paralympic movement brings about a lasting social transformation.

Media Entrepreneurship in the Platform Economy: Structural Barriers and Boundary Conditions in the Strategic Alignment Between AI Maturity and the News Value Chain

This study examines the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) maturity and entrepreneurship in digital news ventures through a three-dimensional conceptual model that integrates entrepreneurial stages, AI maturity dimensions and levels, and the dynamics of the news value chain. Drawing upon Max Weber’s (1949) “Ideal Type” methodology, this model functions as a normative reference plane employed to identify boundary conditions within media entrepreneurship. Framed within the context of media economics, the model was constructed through an NVivo-assisted thematic coding analysis of 46 distinct AI maturity models, AI techniques, and the extant literature on entrepreneurship and business models. The central thesis of the study posits that the economic sustainability of digital media ventures is contingent upon a strategic alignment established between the entrepreneurial pyramid, AI maturity dimensions/levels, and the stages of the news value chain. The media industry encounters significant challenges in transitioning between the stages defined in the ideal type model due to structural barriers and boundary conditions imposed by the platform economy. A fundamental assumption of the model is the existence of a coordinated developmental relationship between entrepreneurial stages and AI maturity levels. However, media entrepreneurship undergoes a structural break, particularly following the fourth stage: AI integration and product-market fit. Due to financial asset structure constraints, value erosion resulting from content abundance, and the infrastructural dependency dictated by the platform economy, ventures face substantial difficulties during the business model alignment and scaling phases. The production speed provided by AI, combined with content abundance, reduces the marginal value of news and makes it difficult for ventures that cannot transform technological maturity into economic value to achieve business model fit. In this context, it is recommended that digital news ventures manage their financial, technological, and organizational resources through strategic alignment with hybrid revenue models. Ultimately, the study predicts that the strategic alignment across dimensions defined in the model will balance platform dependency and lay the groundwork for building a collective ecosystem in niche vertical spaces where professional legitimacy (ethical/editorial oversight) is preserved.
