Abstract
16. yüzyıl şair ve devlet adamlarından Derviş Paşa, Mostar'da dünyaya gelmiştir. II. Selim zamanında İstanbul'a gelmiş ve saray eğitimi almıştır. Derviş meşrep bir mizacı olan şairin mahlas kullandığı şiirlerinde "Derviş" ismini tercih ettiği görülmektedir. Takriben 40 yaşında Budin önlerinde yapılan bir savaşta şehit düşen Derviş Paşa'nın Murâd-nâme adlı bir mesnevisi, Zübdetü'l-Eş'ar adlı Farsça bir eseri ile Derviş Paşa İnşâsı adı verilen mensur bir başka eserinin yanında muhtelif mecmualarda karşılaşılan gazel ve kıtaları bulunmaktadır.
Derviş Paşa İnşâsı adlı yazma metin, iki parçalı bir yapıdadır. Birinci metin parçası; meşru olmayan ilişki ve gulamperestliğe İslam hukuku açısından bir açıklama mahiyetinde ve aynı zamanda edebi yönü olan bir çeşit "dinî hüküm" metnidir. Metnin ikinci parçası ise Kanije Müdafii Tiryaki Hasan Paşa'nın gazasını anlatan bir "gazâvât-nâme" metnidir.

Abstract
Dervish Pasha, a 16th century poet and statesman, was born in Mostar. He came to Istanbul in the time of Selim II and received training on the palace. Derviş is a poignant temperament of the poet used in the poetry of the name "Derviş" seems to prefer the name.
