Abstract
Dünya Sosyal Forumu ve Alternatif Küreselleşme başlıklı makalemizde bugün dünyayı, devletleri ve halkları savaşlara ve yoksulluğa sürükleyen neoliberal küreselleşmenin dünyaya dayattığı düzene karşı dünya halklarının alternatif ve aşağıdan küreselleşme arayışlarına önemli bir örnek teşkil eden Dünya Sosyal Forumu’nun doğuşunu, Forum süreci ve yapısını, düzenlenen Forum toplantılarını ve Dünya Sosyal Forumu’na ilişkin gelişmeleri ve Forum’a getirilen eleştirileri inceledik. Dünya Sosyal Forumu kendini ‘hareketlerin hareketi’ olarak tanımlamaktadır ve birbirinden farklı binlerce neoliberalizm karşıtı hareketin temsilcilerini bir araya getirerek sermayenin egemenliğine karşı katılımcılık, çeşitlilik ve çoğulculuk etrafında buluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Dünya Sosyal Forumu bölgesel ya da yerel alternatif küreselleşme arayışlarının önüne geçerek, daha iyi bir dünya düzeni arayışında olan tüm halklar ve sivil toplum hareketleri için bir buluşma noktası olmuştur. Forum toplantılarında onlarca farklı ülkeden gelen binlerce aktivist, daha iyi bir dünyanın nasıl mümkün olabileceği sorusu çerçevesinde, ekonomiden sağlığa, çevreden kadın haklarına kadar hemen her alanda atölyeler düzenlemek suretiyle neoliberal küreselleşmenin etkilediği konuların iyileştirmesi için işbirliği yapmaktadırlar. Bugün gelinen noktada, diğer alternatif küreselleşme hareketlerinin yanı sıra Dünya Sosyal Forumu sayesinde neoliberal aktörlerin daha iyi bir dünya düzeni taleplerine tepkisiz kalması mümkün değildir.

Abstract
In our article titled World Social Forum and Alternative Globalization, we aim to analyze the emerge of World Social Forum as well as its structure and formation, Forum meetings and developments regarding World Social Forum and critics to the same. World Social Forum constitutes an important example in terms of the quests on alternative globalization and globalization from below of the people against the world order imposed by the neoliberal globalization that has driven the world, states and peoples into wars and poverty, The World Social Forum defines itself as the ‘movement of movements’ and aims to bring together representatives of thousands of different anti-neoliberalist movements around participation, diversity and pluralism against the sovereignty of capital and its impose of uniformity of people. The World Social Forum has been a meeting point for all peoples and civil society movements seeking a better world order far ahead of the regional or local alternative globalization movements on the same. During the Forum meetings, thousands of activists from dozens of different countries collaborate on reflecting to improve the issues affected by neoliberal globalization around the question of ‘how a better world is possible’ by organizing workshops in almost every field, from economy to health, environment to women's rights. Today, by virtue of the World Social Forum, among other alternative globalization movements, it is not possible for the neoliberal actors to be unresponsive to the demands of a better world order.
