OKUL ÖNCESİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN OKULLARINDA BULUNAN OYUN ALANLARINA YÖNELİK GÖRÜŞLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract
Okul öncesi dönemi çocuklarının gelişiminde genel anlamda oyunun faydası ve etkililiği çok önemlidir. Son yıllarda gelişmiş ülkelerin eğitim sistemlerine baktığımızda oyun kavramının çocukların gelişimi açısından önemli bir faaliyet olduğu görülmektedir. Bilim adamlarının birçoğuna göre çocuğu tanımak ve gözlemlemenin en iyi yolu oyundur. Çocuklar oyun oynadığı esnada birçok beceri kazanırlar. Çocuk oyun vasıtasıyla yetişkinliğe geçiş dönemindeki becerilerini izleyerek pratik hale getirir ve mükemmelleştirir. Dolayısıyla çocukların topluma faydalı bireyler olması yönünde okul öncesi ve ilkokullarda oyun alanlarının öğrenciye eğitimsel kazanım açısından daha düzenli olması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin, okullarda bulunan oyun alanlarıyla fikirlerini ortaya koyar. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı çalışmacı tarafından sunulan açık uçlu sorular okul öncesi öğretmenlerine sunulmuştur. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden mülakat yöntemi kullanılmış olup, Gaziantep İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı okullarda görev yapan 20 okul öncesi öğretmeninden elde edilmiş olan veriler, içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin, görev yaptıkları okulların oyun alanlarını yetersiz buldukları ve okul öncesi öğrencileri için uygun olmadığı yönünde görüş bildirdikleri gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler görev yaptıkları okulların oyun alanlarına ihtiyacı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca öğretmenler çocukların eğitimsel anlamda gelişimi açısından okullarda bulunan oyun alanlarının katkısı olduğu, geniş olması gerektiği, eğitici oyun alanlarının olması, temiz ve hijyenik olması gerektiği ve bahçelerde bulunan zeminin öğrencinin güvenliği açısından düzenli olması gerektiği neticesine varılmıştır.

Abstract
The benefit and effectiveness of the game in general are very important in the development of preschool children. When we look at the education systems of developed countries in recent years, it is seen that the concept of play is an important activity for the development of children. The game is the best way to recognize and observe the child, according to many scientists. Children acquire a lot of skills while playing. The child makes practical and perfect by following his skills during the transition to adulthood through play. Therefore, playgrounds in pre-school and primary schools should be more regular in terms of educational attainment for the students in order to be beneficial individuals for the society. The purpose of this study is to reveal the views of preschool teachers with the playgrounds in schools. In the study, open-ended questions presented by the data collection tool worker were presented to pre-school teachers. Interview method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study, and the data obtained from 20 pre-school teachers working in schools affiliated to Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of National Education were analyzed by content analysis method. As a result of the study, it was observed that preschool teachers found the schools they work inadequate in their playgrounds and expressed their opinions that they are not suitable for preschool students. The teachers participating in the research stated that the schools they work in need for playgrounds. In addition, it was concluded that the playgrounds in the schools contribute to the educational development of children, they should be large, educational playgrounds should be clean and hygienic, and the ground in the gardens should be regular for the safety of the student.
