Abstract
Festivaller folklorik açıdan oldukça zengin motifler taşımaktadır. Festivaller bir milletin ortak geçmişi ve yaşam felsefesinden izler taşır. Her festival bir inanışa, bir düşünceye, bir amaca hizmet eder. Festivaller neredeyse her millette görülen, kendi kültürel değerlerini, gelenek ve göreneklerini, içinde barındıran, ortak bir coşku ile kutlanan etkinlikler bütünüdür. Festivaller dinî niteliklerini ve ritüellerini temelde korurken değerlerini büyük ölçüde kaybetti ve eğlenceye ve şenliğe dönüştü. Festivaller, yeni ve eski değerleri geçmişle gelecek arasında katılımcı bir bağlantıyla harmanlar. Festivaller eski ve yeni biçimleriyle sosyal yaşamda yer bulmaya devam ediyor. Festivallerin belirli bir yer ve tarihte süreklilik kazanarak yapılması, gelenekselleşmesini ve etkinliklerin bir periyoda girmesini sağlar. Bu düzenlilik festivallerin dayandırılan temellerini ve içeriğinin herkesçe benimsenmesini sağlar, bu tür etkinliklere olan ilgiyi ve aşinalığı canlı tutar. Festivaller bir düzenleme komitesi tarafından çok geniş kapsamlı olarak organize edilir. Etkinliklerin bir sıra ile sunulması, festival alanının düzenlenmesi, festival katılımcılarının güvenliğini sağlamaya yönelik önlemler yoğun bir çalışma ve işbölümü gerektirir. Tüm bu çalışmalar festival katılımcılarının eğlenebilmelerini sağlamak adınadır. Etkinliklerde dikkate değer bir nokta da; yeni kutlanmaya başlayan bir festivalde bile halk dansları, köy seyirlik oyunu, folklorik giysiler, el sanatları öne çıkmaktadır. Festivaller bu yönüyle folklorik ögeleri günümüze hızlıca taşıyan bir yapıya sahiptir. Festivallerde yaşatılmaya çalışılan ögeler günlük hayatta çoğunlukla görülmemektedir. Halkın coşkuyla katıldığı etkinlikler içinde bu folklorik ögeler ortaya çıkma zemini bulmaktadır. Festivaller genel olarak: Yer ve Etkinlik Adı Altındaki Festivaller, Üretime Dayalı Meyve-Sebze Adı Altındaki Festivaller, Bilinen Dinî Kişi ve Anma Günü Adı Altındaki Festivaller, 30 Ağustos Bayramı ve Güreş Müsabakaları Adı Altındaki Festivaller, olarak sıralanabilir.

Festivals blend new and old values with a participatory link between the past and the future. Festivals continue to find a place in social life with their old and new forms. Performing the festivals by continuing at a specific place and date ensures the traditionalization of the festivals and causes the events to be celebrated periodically. This regularity keeps the interest and familiarity of the events alive by ensuring that the foundations and content of the festivals are adopted by everyone. Festivals are extensively organized by an organizing committee. It takes a lot of work and work sharing to perform the festival events in order, organize the festival area and ensure the safety of the festival participants. All these efforts are for the festival participants to have fun. A striking point in the events is that even in a festival that is celebrated for the first time, folk dances, village games, folkloric clothes, handicrafts stand out. Festivals have a structure that quickly carries folkloric elements to this day. The elements that are tried to be kept alive at festivals are mostly not seen in daily life. Folkloric elements find the ground to become prominent in the events in which the people participate enthusiastically. Festivals in general can be listed as Festivals Under Place and Event Name, Festivals Under Production Name of Fruit and Vegetables, Festivals Under Name of Known Religious Person and Memorial Day, Festivals Under Name of Festival of August 30 and Wrestling Competitions.
