Abstract
Gelişen çevre şartları ve hızla artan nüfusla beraber insanların kent içinde zaman geçirdiği alanların giderek azaldığı görülmektedir. Günlük yaşamın stresi ve açık rekreasyonel alanlara olan ihtiyacı nedeniyle sürekli hareket halinde bulunan bireyler, kendilerine ekolojik ve psikolojik açıdan en uygun yaşam standartını sunacak alanlara doğru bir hareket gerçekleştirirler. Amaç: Gerçekleştirdikleri bu hareketi etkileyen durumların belirlenmesi üzerine yürütülen bu araştırma kapsamında, kentsel mekânda hareket halinde bulunan yayaları ve yayaların sınırları belirlenen alandaki hareketlerini yönlendiren etkilerin tanımlanması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma yöntemini; Çanakkale kent merkezinden seçilen yollarda peyzaj bileşenlerini keşfetmek amacıyla yaya hareketi ve araştırmacı için hazırlanan soruların cevaplandırılmasına yönelik görsel/algısal değerlendirmeyi kapsayan yorumlu yürüyüş oluşturmaktadır. Bulgular: Bu bağlamda ulaşım tanımı yapılarak ulaşımdaki yaya ve taşıtın yeri açıklanmış, birbirleriyle olan ilişkisi belirtilerek yaya hareketlerini etkileyen değişkenler yorumlu yürüyüş yöntemiyle saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Konuyla ilgili yapılan çalışmalar incelenip, gerekli literatür taraması yapılarak alandaki gözlemler ve çekilen fotoğraflar neticesinde veri toplaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda, kent içinde yayaların hareketlerini etkileyen değerlerin; fiziksel, duyusal, sosyal ve psikolojik etkiler olabileceği ve bu değişkenlerle yaya yolu tasarımı ve uygulamalarından kaynaklanan sorunların yaya hareketlerinin yönlendirmesindeki etkisi yorumlu yürüyüş yöntemi ile ortaya konulmuş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract
With the developing environmental conditions and rapidly increasing population, it is seen that the areas where people spend time in the city are gradually decreasing. Due to the stress of daily life and the need for open recreational areas, individuals who are constantly on the move make a move towards areas that will offer them the most ecologically and psychologically optimal living standard. Aim: Within the scope of this research, which was carried out on the determination of the situations affecting this movement they carried out, it was aimed to define the pedestrians in motion in the urban space and the effects that direct the movements of the pedestrians in the determined area. Method: Research method; In order to explore the landscape components on the roads selected from the city center of Çanakkale, an interpretive walk includes pedestrian movement and visual/perceptual evaluation to answer the questions prepared for the researcher. Results: In this context, the location of the pedestrian and the vehicle in transportation is explained by making a definition of transportation, and the variables affecting the pedestrian movements are tried to be determined by the interpretive walking method by specifying their relationship with each other. The studies on the subject were examined and the necessary literature was searched and data collection was carried out as a result of the observations in the field and the photographs taken. Conclusion: As a result of the research, the values affecting the movements of pedestrians in the city; It is aimed to reveal the effects of physical, sensory, social and psychological effects and the effects of these variables and the problems arising from pedestrian road design and applications on the direction of pedestrian movements with the interpretive walking method.
