Abstract
Tarihi çevre bireylere kendi geçmişlerini daha iyi görebilme, onunla bütünleşebilme imkanı tanımakla birlikte, özüne dönmeleri konusunda onlara yardımcı olabilecek ipuçları, çeşitli yaşanmışlıklar da sunmaktadır. Ancak geçmişle bütünleşme konusunda tarihi çevrenin önemli bir işlevi olsa da bugün ne yazık ki pek çok tarihi yapı kentleşme ya da yapılaşma uğruna yok edildiği için böyle bir işlevi yerine getirememektedir. Bu noktada eğitim ve bilinçlendirmenin önemi daha iyi anlaşılmaktadır. Özellikle tarihi çevrenin korunarak gelecek kuşaklara güven içinde ulaştırılmasını hedefleyen tarihi çevre eğitiminin, bu bağlamda çok önemli bir araç olduğu söylenebilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, tarihi çevrenin korunmasının gelecek kuşaklar için önemini vurgulayarak, bu korumada tarihi çevre eğitiminin rolü ve önemini ortaya koymaktır. Yapılan çalışmada, örnekleriyle birlikte ele alınan yerleşim merkezlerindeki tarihi değerler tarihi çevre olarak ele alınmıştır.

Abstract
While the historical environment provides individuals with the opportunity to see their past better and integrate with it, it also offers clues and various experiences that can help them return to their essence. However, although the historical environment has an important function in terms of integration with the past, unfortunately, many historical buildings cannot fulfill such a function today because they have been destroyed for the sake of urbanization. At this point, the importance of education and awareness is better understood. In this context, it can be said that historical environmental education, which aims to protect the historical environment and deliver it to future generations, is a very important tool. The aim of this study is to emphasize the importance of the protection of the historical environment for future generations and to reveal the role and importance of historical environmental education in this protection. In the study, the historical values in the settlements, which are considered together with their examples, are considered as the historical environment.
