Abstract
Bu çalışmanın konusu olan Ömer, edebiyat tarihimizin temel eserleri olan şair tezkirelerinde ve biyografik bilgi içeren diğer klâsik kaynaklarda hakkında bilgi bulunmayan şairlerdendir. Şairin bugün için bilinen tek eseri, Bahtiyâr-nâme adını taşıyan mesnevisidir. Eserin tek yazma nüshası İstanbul Arkeoloji Müzesi Kütüphanesi 1022 numarada kayıtlıdır. Eser, aynı zamanda müellifi Ömer'in tarihî ve edebî kişiliğini aydınlatan bilgiler içermesi bakımından da değer taşır. Ömer, eserinin sebeb-i telif bölümünde kendisini ve ailesini tanıtır. Mesnevinin diğer bölümlerinde de şairin tarihî kişiliği başlığı altında değerlendirilebilecek bilgiler bulunur. Ancak bu bilgiler, şairin tarihî kişiliğini tam anlamıyla aydınlatabilecek kadar ayrıntılı değildir. Bu çalışmada, biyografi ile ilgili temel bilgilerin ardından şair tezkireleri ve biyografik bilgi içeren diğer klâsik kaynaklarda Ömer adıyla kayıtlı şairler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Daha sonra Ömer'in tarihî kişiliği hakkında eserinden ulaşılan malumat örnek beyitlerle değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada, şairin sanat anlayışıyla ilgili değerlendirmelere de müstakil bir başlık altında yer verilmiştir. Ömer'in tarihî ve edebî kişiliğiyle ilgili bu çalışmayla onu edebiyat tarihimize tanıtmak hedeflenmiştir.

Abstract
Ömer, the subject of this study, is one of the poets whose information is not found in poet biographies, which are the main works of our literary history, and in other classical sources containing biographical information. The only known work of the poet today is his masnavi named Bahtiyar-nâme. The only manuscript copy of the work is registered at 1022 in the Library of the Istanbul Archeology Museum. The work is also valuable in that it contains information that illuminates the historical and literary personality of its author, Ömer. Ömer introduces himself and his family in the reason for copyright section of his work. In other parts of the masnavi, there is information that can be evaluated under the title of the poet's historical personality. However, this information is not detailed enough to fully illuminate the historical personality of the poet. In this study, after the basic information about biography, information about poets registered with the name Ömer in poet biographies and other classical sources containing biographical information is given. Then, the information about Ömer's historical personality, which was obtained from his work, was evaluated with sample couplets. In the study, the evaluations about the poet's understanding of art are also included under a separate title. With this study on Ömer's history and literary personality, it is aimed to introduce him to our literary history.
