SAĞLIK HİZMETLERİ MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULU ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN YAZ STAJINA İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİNİN STAJ ÖNCESİ VE SONRASI KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract
Staj, öğrencilerin öğrenim sürecinde, gördükleri teorik eğitimi sahada pekiştirme imkânı veren bir uygulamadır. Öğrenciler staj sayesinde hem teorik aldıkları eğitimi uygulama imkânı bulurken, hem de ilerde çalışacakları ortamı tanıma imkânı bulmaktadır. Bu nedenle de staj uygulaması hem okul hem de kurumlar tarafından önemsenmesi gereken bir konu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu araştırmada da Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksek Okulu’ndaki öğrencilerin, yaz stajı uygulaması öncesi ve sonrasındaki görüşleri arasındaki farklılıkları ortaya koymak amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmaya, Yozgat Bozok Üniversitesi ve Bartın Üniversitesi Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulunda yaz stajı yapan 530 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin toplanması için, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen anket kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde, sayı, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, ilişkili eşleştirilmiş örneklemler için t testi analizlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcıların staj öncesi ve sonrasındaki ifadelere verdikleri cevaplar doğrultusunda stajı mesleki gelişimleri için gerekli olduğunu ve zaman kaybı olarak görmediklerini, staja gittikleri süre içinde bir ücretin ödenmesi gerektiğini, verilen ücretin artırılması gerektiğini, staj süresince hocalarının öğrenciler ile iletişim halinde olması gerektiğini ve personelin stajyerlere yardımcı olması gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir.

Abstract
Internship is an application that allows students to reinforce their theoretical education in the field. With internship, students have the opportunity to practice their theoretical education, as well as get to know the environment in which they will work in the future. For this reason, internship practice emerges as an issue that should be considered important by both schools and institutions. In this research, it is aimed to reveal the differences between the opinions of the students in the Health Services Vocational School before and after the summer internship. 530 Health Services Vocational School students at Yozgat Bozok University and Bartın University who, did summer internship participated in the study. A questionnaire developed by the researchers was used to collect data in the study. In the analysis of the obtained data, number, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t test analysis for associated paired samples were used. As a result of the research, in line with the answers given by the participants to the statements before and after the internship, they stated that the internship is necessary for their professional development and they don’t see it as a waste of time, that a fee should be paid during the internship period, the fee should be increased, the teachers should be in contact with the students during the internship, and the staff should help the internships.
