Abstract
Bazı hadis-i şeriflerde yer alan ve literatürde, haberî sıfatlar olarak tarif edilen ifadeler, erken dönemlerden itibaren akidevî sahada cereyan eden tartışmaların merkezinde yer almıştır. Bu ifadelerin nasıl anlaşılması gerektiği hususunda birçok farklı görüş ortaya konmuştur. Bu makalede ise söz konusu alana taalluk eden ifadelerdeki mecazî kullanımlar tespit edilerek mecaz kavramının, bu ifadelerin manasına etkisi ortaya konmaya çalışılmış, böylece tartışmaya belagat ilmi ekseninde yaklaşmak amaçlanmıştır.
Bu bağlamda öncelikle mecaz kavramı ve haberî sıfatlar tanıtılmış, ardından haberî sıfatların nasıl anlaşılması gerektiğine dair İslam uleması tarafından benimsenen tefvîz, te’vil ve ispat metotları izah edilmiştir. Son bölümde ise yaygın olarak bilinen ve içerisinde haberî sıfatlara dair ifadelerin yer aldığı bazı hadis-i şerifler, mecaz kavramı merkezinde tahlil edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.

Abstract
The expressions in some hadith-i sharifs, which are described as khabari adjectives, have been at the center of the debates in the field of creed since early times. There are many different views on how these expressions should be understood. In this article, the metaphorical usages in the expressions related to this field have been determined and the effect of the concept of metaphor on the meaning of the expressions in question has been tried to be revealed, so it is aimed to approach the discussion on the axis of rhetoric.
In this context, firstly the concept of metaphor and khabar adjectives were introduced, then the methods of tawwiz, ta'vil and proof adopted by Islamic scholars on how to understand khabari adjectives were explained. In the last part, some hadith-i sharifs, which are widely known and include expressions about khabar adjectives, are analyzed and interpreted in the center of the concept of metaphor.
