Abstract
Çatışma, edebî eserin ana ögelerinden biridir. Birçok edebî eserin sürükleyici olması, akılda kalması, okurun merak duygusunu harekete geçirerek metne bağlılığını sağlamak için kullanılan çatışma yöntemi, eserin dikkatleri üzerine çekme noktasında en belirgin unsur olarak karşımıza çıkar. Bu sayede metin ve okur arasında daha sık bir bağ meydana gelmekte kendisini metindeki karakterlerle özdeşleştiren okur açısından daha dikkatle takip edilen bir kurgu ortaya çıkmaktadır.
Türk hikâyeciliğinin önde gelen isimlerinden Rasim Özdenören, bu çalışmada ele aldığımız, hikâyesine de isim olarak seçtiği çatışma kavramını birçok eserinde kullanmıştır. Bu sayede hikâyelerinde merak unsuru başta olmak üzere birçok anlatı yöntemini de kuvvetlendirme yoluna giden yazar, “Çatışma” hikâyesinde bunun iyi bir örneğini sunmuştur.
Dört ana karakterin yer aldığı hikâyede; fikir çatışması, gelenek-modern çatışması, nesil çatışması, fiziksel çatışma gibi çatışmanın farklı türleri ve boyutları kurgulanmıştır.

Abstract
Conflict is one of the main elements of literary work. The conflict method, which is used to ensure that many literary works are immersive, to be remembered, to activate the reader’s sense of curiosity and to ensure their loyalty to the text, is the most prominent element in drawing the attention of the work. In this way, a more frequent connection occurs between the text and the reader, and a more carefully followed fiction emerges for the reader who identifies himself with the characters in the text.
Rasim Özdenören, one of the leading names in Turkish storytelling, used the concept of conflict, which we discussed in this study and which he chose as a name for his story, in many of his works. In this way, the author, who tries to strengthen many narrative methods, especially the element of curiosity in his stories, presented a good example of this in the story “Conflict”.
In the story of the four main characters; Different types and dimensions of conflict such as clash of ideas, conflict of tradition-modern, conflict of generation, physical conflict have been fictionalized.
