Abstract
Günümüzde insanlık küresel bir salgına karşı büyük bir mücadele vermektedir. Tüm dünyada yaşamı etkileyen koronavirüs salgını ile büyük bir mücadele yaşanmaktadır. Hayatın durma noktasına geldiği bu süreçte insanlık zor bir sınavdan geçmektedir. Sağlık başta olmak üzere toplumsal hayat içerisinde ekonomiden eğitime, spordan sosyal hayata kadar yaşamın her alanı salgından etkilenmiştir. Yaşanan küresel salgın döneminden sağlığın yanı sıra ekonomi en fazla etkilenen alan olmuştur. Ekonomi alanının bir parçası olan ve ülke ekonomisinde önemli bir yere sahip olan spor endüstrisi de bu dönemin en çok etkilenen alanlarından birisi olmuştur. Salgın nedeniyle spor organizasyonlarının takvimlerinde değişiklikler yaşanmış ve organizasyonlar süresiz olarak ileri tarihlere ertelenmiştir. Ülkelerin ekonomilerinde önemli bir yere sahip olan spor gelirleri ve spor içerisinde büyük paya sahip olan futbol gelirleri bu süreçte önemli bir kayıp olarak ele alınmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada konunun ekonomik boyutu incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, güncel bir konu olması sebebiyle seçilen, koronavirüs salgınının spor endüstrisi ve futbol ekonomisi üzerindeki etkileri üzerine bir değerlendirmede bulunulmuştur. Günümüzde pek çok alanı etkileyen ve farklı yönlerle ele alınabilecek olan koronavirüsün etkilerine dair spor camiası açısından bakılmıştır. Koronavirüs açısından spor dünyasında konuşulan konunun ekonomik boyut olmasından dolayı çalışmada ekonomik boyut üzerine odaklanılmıştır.

Abstract
Today, humanity is putting up a great fight against a global epidemic. There is a great struggle with the coronavirus epidemic that affects life all over the world. In this period when life comes to a standstill, humanity is going through a difficult test. Every area of life, from economy to education, sports to social life, especially health, has been affected by the epidemic in social life. In addition to health, economy has been the area the most affected by the global epidemic. The sports industry, which is a part of the economic field and has an important place in the economy of the country, has been one of the most affected areas of this period. Due to the epidemic, there have been changes in the calendars of sports organizations and the organizations have been postponed to future dates indefinitely. Sports revenues, which have an important place in the economies of countries, and football revenues, which have a large share in sports, have been considered as an important loss in this process. In this context, the economic dimension of the subject has been examined in the study. In the study, an evaluation has been made on the effects of the coronavirus epidemic on the sports industry and football economy, which had been chosen as a current issue. The effects of the coronavirus, which affects many areas today and can be addressed from different aspects, have been viewed from the perspective of the sports community. Since the topic, which is talked in sports world in terms of coronavirus, is economic dimension; economic dimension has been focused in the study.

- The Covid-19 epidemic, which started in the last days of 2019, became global with the first monthsof 2020 and affected the whole world. This virus, which is stated to have started in China and foundall over the world in a short time, especially in the USA and European countries, has obliged a new world order mandatory.
- Plans made at the beginning of 2020 were interrupted by the global epidemic. The field of sportsindustry, which is the subject of the study, has been an area affected by the epidemic like every otherfield. While a planned process has been being implemented in the context of sports organizations, theorganizations were stopped with this epidemic. The effects of the coronavirus epidemic, which isconsidered as a current issue, on sports field and football economy were selected as the subject of the study.
