Abstract
Evrime yönelik tutumlar konusunda Türkiye’de özellikle sosyal bilimler alanında yeterli nicel araştırmaların olmadığı görülmektedir. Nicel yöntemlerle araştırma yapabilmek için ölçme araçlarına ihtiyaç vardır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmanın amacı, evrim bilgi testini Türkçeye uyarlamaktır. Hem fen bilimlerinde hem de sosyal bilimlerde evrim üzerine yapılacak çalışmalarda katılımcıların evrim bilgisinin önemli bir değişken olacağı düşünülmektedir. Türkiye'de evrim bilgisine yönelik testler bulunmakla birlikte, soru sayısının fazla olması ve genellikle evrim eğitimi almış bireylere yönelik geliştirilmiş olması nedeniyle bazı sınırlılıklar bulunmaktadır. Türkçeye uyarladığımız evrim bilgi testinin 10 sorudan oluşması ve biyoloji alanı dışındaki bireylere de uygulanabilir olması bir avantajdır. Test çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluştuğu ve bir başarı testi olduğu için, soruların evrensel bilgiyi ölçtüğü düşünüldüğünden kültürel farklılık olmayacağı anlaşılmıştır. Testin içerik ve dil geçerliliği alan uzmanları tarafından sağlanmıştır. Testin Türkçe versiyonu 305 genç yetişkine uygulanmış ve veriler toplanmıştır. Madde güçlük ve madde ayırt edicilik analizleri yapılmıştır. Madde güçlük ve madde ayırt edicilik analizlerinin sonuçlarına göre, her bir madde ve testin bütünü beklenen değerler arasındadır. İç tutarlılık güvenirliği Kuder Richardson 20 (KR-20) ile kontrol edilmiştir. KR-20 .670 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu katsayı, bir başarı testi için yeterlidir. Testin beklenen madde güçlük ve madde ayırt edicilik değerlerini sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, evrim bilgi testinin Türkçe versiyonu kullanıma sunulmuştur.

Abstract
It is seen that there is not enough quantitative research on attitudes towards evolution in Turkey, especially in the field of social sciences. In order to conduct research with quantitative methods, measurement tools are needed. Therefore, the aim of this study is to adapt the evolution knowledge test into Turkish. It is thought that participants' knowledge of evolution will be an important variable in studies on evolution in both science and social sciences. Although there are evolution knowledge tests in Turkey, there are some limitations due to the high number of questions and the fact that they are generally developed for individuals who have received evolution education. It is an advantage that the evolution knowledge test we adapted to Turkish consists of 10 questions and can be applied to individuals outside the field of biology. Since the test consists of multiple-choice questions and is an achievement test, it is understood that there will be no cultural differences since the questions are thought to measure universal knowledge. Content and language validity of the test was ensured by field experts. The Turkish version of the test was administered to 305 young adults and data were collected. Item difficulty and item discrimination analyses were conducted. According to the results of item difficulty and item discrimination analyses, each item and the test as a whole were within the expected values. Internal consistency reliability was checked with Kuder Richardson 20 (KR-20). KR-20 was determined as .670. This coefficient is sufficient for an achievement test. It was determined that the test provided the expected item difficulty and item discrimination values. As a result, the Turkish version of the evolution knowledge test was put into use.
