Abstract
Akıllı ve aklıselim olan mümin, Allah'u teala'nın insanları yarattığına dair şüphe götürmez, beşeriyet ailesinin fertlerinden her bir ferdine yararlandığı özelliği veren ve onu (insanı) istediği şekilde yaratan O'dur, böylece Allah'ın hikmeti ve isteği insanların çoğu durumlarda farklı olmasını gerektirdi, yüce Allah'ın insanların birbirinden farklı olmasını istediği şeylerden birisi dildir, (Allah) onları bir dil üzerinde bir araya getirmiştir, (fakat) onlara yalnız bir dili gerekli kılmamıştır, bilakis bu farklılık ve çeşitliliği evrendeki varlıklar için ayetlerinden bir ayet yapmıştır ve bu gerçeği de gökyüzü ve yeryüzü olduğu sürece ebedi olan Kur'an'ın ayetleriyle vurgulamıştır. Araştırmanın önemi, birçok İslam ülkelerimizde sosyal hayatın önemindendir, neredeyse beşeri bir topluluk bulunmasında bir dil onları birleştirmesin, bilakis insanların aralarında konuştuğu pek çok dil olduğunu görüyoruz, bunun için bazı insanların hatta pek çoğu insanların dillerini takdis edip ve diğer dillerinin şanını indirdirmesiyle haykırdığı asırda bu önemli meseleye ışık tutmak gerekir. Dillerin farklı olmasının hikayesi nedir, Kur'an'ı Kerim ona nasıl bakar, İslâm dini onu nasıl ele alır ve bütün bu dilleri geniş olan kucağında nasıl kucaklıyor? Bunun karşılığında milli (geleneksel) düşünce ona nasıl bakıyor ve bu olumsuz bakışın İslam toplumu üzerindeki sonuçları nelerdir? Bu araştırma, bu sorulara ve başka sorulara cevap verecek.

it's pretty clear for any sane believer who maintains the natural disposition that Allah - Glory be to Him - is the one who created man, and He is the one who created him in the form He wanted and with the privacy that each member of the humanity is distinguished with; thus, His wisdom and will requires that people be different in many matters. The tongue (language) is one thing that Allah - glory be to Him - wills for people to be different in; He did not assign one language for all of them nor did He order them to stick to one language; rather, He made this diversity one of His signs for all people in the world; and Allah has confirmed this fact by everlasting verses as long as the heavens and earth endure. The importance of research is a part of the importance of social life in our Islamic countries, as there is hardly a human gathering united by one language, rather, we find many languages that people speak among themselves. Therefore, we should shed light to this important issue in an era that some people, perhaps many people, call for sanctifying their languages, and denigrating other languages. Thus, what is the story of the diversity of tongues; how did the Holy Qur’an view it; and how did Islam treat it, and how did Islam host all these languages in its wide embrace? On the other hand, how did national (ethnic) thought view it, and what were the consequences of that negative view on the Islamic society? These and other questions will be answered in this research.
