Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, pandemi döneminde COVİD-19’a yakalanıp iyileşen insanların geçmiş yaşantılarında egzersiz yapmanın Covid-19 geçirme süreçlerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmaya Isparta ilinde COVİD-19’a yakalanıp iyileşen 18-70 yaş arası 203 kadın, 173 erkek olmak üzere toplam 376 kişi katılmıştır.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to examine the effect of exercising in the past lives of people who have been caught and recovered from COVID-19 during the pandemic period, on the process of passing Covid-19. A total of 376 people, 203 women and 173 men, aged between 18-70 years, who caught COVID-19 in Isparta province and recovered, participated in the research. This study, which was carried out by applying a questionnaire consisting of 26 questions, aims to determine how people who make sports habits in their lives, who exercise regularly and who do not, are affected by the Covid-19 process. Scanning model was used in the research. Personal information form, Physical Activity Habit Assessment Questionnaire (FAADA) was used to collect data. Data analysis, SPSS 26 package program was used.

As a result, the fact that exercise is important in terms of improving the function of the immune and respiratory systems in order to reduce the risk factors of COVID-19 and allow better body functions against COVID-19 has been emphasized. It is also recommended to adopt an exercise-based lifestyle.
