Abstract

Abstract

Electrical and electronics sector is one of the most important sectors in the world which is developing rapidly. With a market volume exceeding $ 1 trillion in the world, this sector is rapidly increasing its importance for the future. Especially in this sector, which is a pioneer in labor force growth, it tends to reach a basic position that feeds other sectors. electrical and electronics sector in Turkey began with the installation process 40-50 years ago. Sectors with the ripening stage promising a rapid development in Turkey and continues to grow rapidly as the industry has attained a certain accumulation. In this study, performance in some businesses with this important sector in Turkey has tried to determine the size Malmquist method. As a result of the study, it is seen that there is an increase in technical efficiency (10%), a decrease in technological efficiency (7%) and an increase in pure technical efficiency (1%). An increase in scale efficiency (9%) and an increase in total factor efficiency (3%) were observed.
