HEMŞİRELERİN PROFESYONEL HEMŞİRELİK DEĞER ALGISININ YAŞLI HASTA BAKIMI ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma hemşirelerin profesyonellik değerlerini ve bunun yaşlı hasta bakımına etkisinin belirlenmesi amacı ile tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırma, Yozgat ilinde, Yozgat Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde 01 Ekim- 01 Kasım 2019 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmaya araştırmanın yapıldığı tarihler arasında izinli veya raporlu olmayan ve gönüllü olan 207 hemşire katıldı. Verilerin toplanmasında “Hemşireleri Tanıtım Formu” ve “Hemşirelerin Profesyonellik Değerleri Ölçeği” kullanıldı. Veriler, SPSS 22.0 paket programında sayı, yüzde, ortalama, t-testi, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis ve Mann Whitney U testi kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin çoğunun kadın, bekar, genç, lisans mezunu olduğu ve çekirdek ailede yaşadığı, yaşlı bireyle yaşamadığı, çocuk sahibi olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularından, ölçek toplam puanının ortalamanın üzerinde (119,73±19,34) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ölçekten elde edilen en yüksek alt boyut puanının ise ''Otonomi'' (12,96±2,50) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ölçek genel ve alt boyut ortalamalarının demografik özelliklerle karşılaştırılmasında eğitim değişkeni arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu saptanmış; diğer demografik ve sosyal yaşamına ait özellikler arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir ilişkinin olmadığı bulunmuştur. Çalışmamızda profesyonel değerleri yüksek hemşirelerin yaşlı hasta ile ilgili genel kanılarının olumlu olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

This descriptive study was conducted designed to evaluate the professional values and aim of determining the effect of this on older adults patient care.The study was performed between 01 October and 01 November 2019 in Yozgat Training and Research Hospital, in Yozgat Province. A total of 207 nurse who were not on leave during the study period were included. The participation rate was 93%. The ‘Nursing Introductory Form’ and ‘Nursing Professional Values Scale-(HPDS)’ were used to collect data. The data were evaluated using the SPSS 22.0 package program with numbers, per- centages, means, t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis, and Mann Whitney U test analysis. It has been identified that most of the nurses within the study are female, single, young and have bachelor’s degree, living in a nuclear family, not living with an older adult individual and having no children. It has been observed as the findings of the study that the total score of the questionnaire is above average (119,73±19,34) respectively. Among all the measurements, “Autonomy” subscales were found to be on top (12,96±2,50). When the average values of the general and sub-dimensions have been compared with demographic features, it has been identified that there is a statistical significant difference only between the variables of training there has been found no statistical significant correlation between other demographic features and traits about social life. In our study, it was concluded that the general opinion of the nurses with high professional values about the older adults patient is positive.
