Abstract
Dünya üzerinde yaşamış olan her uygarlık, döneminde, kendi kültürünü ve sanatını yaratmıştır. Kendinden sonra aynı coğrafyada yaşayan toplumlar da bu birikimi yeniden biçimlendirmişlerdir. Bu dönüşümlerde yeni fikirler ve akımlar, bazen bu sürecin devamı niteliğinde bazen de birbirlerine tepki olarak doğmuşlardır. Bu bağlamda değişmeyen kavramlardan biri sanattaki anlatımcılık olmuştur.
Tarih boyunca tüm uygarlıklarda kendi kültüründen beslenen bir hikâye kültürü ve aktarımı vardır. Nesilden nesile yapılan sözlü ya da yazınsal aktarımlardan yeni hikâyeler doğmuş, bu gelenek çağlar boyunca çoğalarak devam etmiştir. İlkel insanlar duygu ve düşüncelerini yaşadığı yere, bir mağara duvarına yansıtırken, giderek uygarlaşan insan farklı malzemelerin keşfiyle farklı sanat alanlarında söylemlerini gerçekleştirmiştir.
Seramik sanatı da zengin malzeme olanakları ve teknikleriyle insanoğlunun bu alanda, her dönemin sanatçı ve zanaatkarların elinden çıkan ürünlerle engin bir kültür birikimi yaratmıştır. Seramik alanında yaratılara konu olan öyküleyici anlatım, sanat eserlerinde en çok kullanılan kavramlardan birisi olmuş, ortaya çıkan eserler tarih boyunca tüm uygarlıkların yaşam serüvenini okuduğumuz bir araca dönüşmüştür. İnsanlık tarihine tanıklık eden ve belge niteliği taşıyan bu eserler, tarihte yerlerini çoktan almışlardır.
Bu makalede, öyküleyici anlatımın tanımı ve tarihçesi ile ilgili bilgiler verilerek, konuyla ilgili görsellerle, bu betimleme biçiminin uygulandığı, tarih boyunca seramik sanatında üretilen eserler ve günümüz seramik sanatındaki örnekleri açıklanarak konunun pekişmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

Abstract
Every civilization that has lived on earth has created its own culture and art in its period. Societies living in the same geography after them have also reshaped this accumulation. In these transformations, new ideas and movements were born, sometimes as a continuation of this process, and sometimes as a reaction to each other. In this context, one of the unchanging concepts has been expressionism in art.
Throughout history, all civilizations have a culture and transmission of stories nourished by their own culture. New stories have emerged from the oral or literary transmissions from generation to generation, and this tradition has continued to multiply throughout the ages. While primitive people reflected their feelings and thoughts on a cave wall where they lived, increasingly civilized people actualized their discourse in different fields of art with the discovery of different materials.
The art of ceramics, with its rich material range and techniques, has created a broad cultural accumulation of mankind in this field, with the products produced by the artists and craftsmen of every period. Storytelling, which is the subject of creations in the field of ceramics, has been one of the most used concepts in works of art, and the resulting works have turned into a tool through which we read the life adventures of all civilizations throughout history. These works, which have witnessed the history of humanity and are documents, have already taken their place in history.
In this article, it is aimed to reinforce the subject by giving information about the definition and history of storytelling, with the visuals related to the subject, the works produced in ceramic art throughout history and examples in today's ceramic art, in which this form of description is applied.
