Abstract
Tevrat, İncil ve Kuran-ı Kerim gibi kutsal kitaplarda detaylı bir şekilde anlatılan Yusuf kıssası vermiş olduğu evrensel mesajlar nedeniyle Ahsenü’l- Kasas yani, kıssaların en güzeli diye adlandırılır. Kıssaların en güzeli olarak tabir edilen bu kıssanın şiir, öykü ve roman gibi edebiyat dallarında çok güzel örnekleri olduğu görülür. Konunun bu şekilde yaygın ve güzel olması sanat alanlarına da sirayet etmesine neden olmuştur. Özellikle minyatür sanatçılarının dikkatini çeken bu kıssa söz konusu sanatçılar tarafından en fazla işlenen konulardan biri olmuştur. Hz. Yusuf konulu bu minyatürler incelendiğinde kardeşleri tarafından kuyuya atılmasına neden olan rüyasından itibaren Mısır azizliğine kadar geçen süreçte hemen hemen hayatının bütün dönemlerinin çalışıldığı görülür. Bu çalışmada Hz. Yusuf’un hayatı ele alınarak minyatür sanatında işlenen çalışmaların kompozisyon düzeni açısından değerlendirilmesi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The story of prophet Joseph, which is described in detail in holy books such as the Torah, the Bible and the Qur'an, is called Ahsenu'l-Kasas, that is, the most beautiful of the stories, because of the universal messages it gives. It is seen that this parable, which is called the most beautiful of the stories, has very good examples in the branches of literature such as poetry, short story and novel. The fact that the subject is fairly widespread and beautiful has conducted it toward spreading to the fields of art as well. This story, which especially attracted the attention of miniature artists, has been one of the most discussed topics by these artists. When these miniatures themed prophet Joseph are examined, it is seen that almost all periods of his life are studied, from the dream that caused him to be thrown into the well by his brothers, to the sainthood of Egypt. In this study, the works in the miniature art were evaluated based on the life of Prophet Joseph in terms of composition order.
