Abstract
Sanata konu olan her olgu, olay, kavram gibi “kadın” imgesi de değişen toplumsal ve kişisel süreçlerin bir parçası olmuştur. Kadın imgesinin temsil anlayışı din, inanç, eğitim, teknoloji, kültürel yaşam gibi olgulardan etkilenerek toplumlar arasında değişkenlik göstermiş, sanatçılar bu kavramların etkisi ile dönemin kültürel yapısına ışık tutmuşlardır. Bu makalenin amacı Türk özgün baskı resim sanatının öncü sanatçılarından Mustafa Aslıer’in simgesel, yalın ve etkileyici dilinden yola çıkarak, toplumsal örf, adet ve geleneklerin etkisi ile Aslıer’e özgü kadın imgesinin, tematik anlatımla nasıl ele alındığı ve bu imgenin değişimlerinin vurgulanması üzerinedir.
Bu çalışmada sanatçının yarattığı kadın imgesinin biçim, içerik, temsil anlayışı ve pratiği yönüyle irdelenmesi ve sanatçının şahsi tarihindeki dönüm noktalarının kendi sanat tarihine ne ölçüde aktarıldığıyla ilgilidir. Bu anlamda sanatta kadın imgesine yer verilerek Mustafa Aslıer’in kadınları ve tarihsel süreç içindeki değişimleri literatür tarama ve nitel araştırma yöntemiyle irdelenmiştir.

Abstract
Like every phenomenon, event, concept that is the subject of art, the image of "woman" has also become a part of changing social and personal processes. The representation understanding of the female image has changed between societies by being influenced by phenomena such as religion, belief, education, technology, cultural life, and the artists shed light on the cultural structure of the period with the influence of these concepts. The aim of this article is to emphasize how the female image unique to Aslıer is handled with thematic expression and the changes of this image, with the effect of social customs, traditions and traditions, based on the symbolic, simple and impressive language of Mustafa Aslıer, one of the leading artists of Turkish printmaking art. In this study, it is about examining the woman image created by the artist in terms of form, content, representation and practice, and to what extent the turning points in his personal history are transferred to his own art history. In this sense, the women of Mustafa Aslıer and their changes in the historical process were examined by literature review and qualitative research method by including the image of woman in art.
