21st century As of today, with the change of career understanding, career adaptability has become one of the important competencies that university students should have. Besides, the 21st century. The career world has become to contain many uncertainties in its structure, and this can have an impact on the level of intolerance of individuals against uncertainty. Therefore, it has become very important to reveal the relationship pattern between the career adaptability levels of university students and the level of intolerance to uncertainty. The aim of this study, carried out in this context, is to reveal the relationship between university students' intolerance of uncertainty and career adaptability and to test whether intolerance to uncertainty is a predictor of career adaptability. The research was designed in the relational model, which is one of the quantitative research approaches. Participants consisted of a total of 319 undergraduate students, 202 female (63.3%) and 117 male (36.7%) studying at Çukurova University. The age range of the participants ranged from 18 to 27 (Mean = 20.24, Sd = 1.33). “Intolerance to Uncertainty Scale” and “Career Adaptability Scale-Short Form” were used to collect data in the research. Pearson Product Moments Correlation and regression analysis were used in the analysis of the research data. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that intolerance of uncertainty is significantly related to career adaptability and intolerance of uncertainty has a predictive power on career adaptability. Intolerance of uncertainty explains 24% of the variation in career adaptability. The result is discussed in the context of the relevant literature. In addition, suggestions were made for practitioners and researchers.
