Abstract
Günümüz toplumsal yaşamında okullar insan yaşamının önemli bir parçasıdır. Okullar, bireylerin içinde bulundukları doğal ve sosyal çevreye uyumlarını sağlamak, onlara bazı beceriler kazandırmak ve özel yeteneklerini geliştirmek için oluşturulmuş özel çevreler olduğu söylenebilir. Bir başka deyişle okul, insan hayatında önemli bir rol oynayan özel yaşama alanıdır. Bu nedenle birey açısından okulun niteliği ile hayatın niteliği arasında pozitif bir ilişkiden bahsetmek mümkündür. Eğitim olgusu hayatın her alanında vardır. Ancak okulları eğitim açısından farklı kılan özelliğin, eğitim için tasarlanmış özel bir çevre oluşturmasından kaynaklandığından bahsedilebilir.
Bireylerin ve toplumun değişmesi, gelişmesi ve ilerlemesi eğitimin ve eğitim sisteminin amaçlarını gerçekleştirmek üzere kurulan okulların kendinden beklenen işlevleri yerine getirmesine bağlıdır. Dolayısıyla eğitsel hedeflerin gerçekleşmesi genelde eğitim sisteminin özelde ise okulların iyi yönetilmesine bağlı olduğu söylenebilir. İyi yönetilen okullar, eğitsel hedeflerin gerçekleşme düzeyini arttırabilecektir. Bu yönüyle okulların etkili olması, insan kaynaklarının geliştirilmesinde anahtar bir rol oynamaktadır.

Abstract
In today's social life, schools are an important part of human life. It can be said that schools are special environments created to ensure the adaptation of individuals to their natural and social environment, to provide them with some skills and to develop their special abilities. In other words, school is a private living space that plays an important role in human life. Therefore, it is possible to talk about a positive relationship between the quality of the school and the quality of life for the individual. The phenomenon of education exists in every aspect of life. However, it can be said that what makes schools different in terms of education is that they create a special environment designed for education.
The change, development and progress of individuals and society depend on the schools established to achieve the goals of education and the education system fulfilling the expected functions. Therefore, it can be said that the realization of educational goals depends on the good management of the education system in general and schools in particular. Well-managed schools can increase the level of realization of educational goals. In this respect, the effectiveness of schools plays a key role in the development of human resources.
