Abstract
Covid-19 pandemisi, 2019’un sonlarından itibaren dünya genelinde hızla yayılan ve küresel sağlık, ekonomi ve toplum üzerindeki etkileriyle tarihsel bir dönüm noktası oluşturmuştur. Bu olağanüstü durum, dijitalleşmenin ve teknolojinin iş dünyasındaki önemini daha net bir şekilde ortaya koymuştur. Covid-19'un etkisiyle, birçok sektörde dijital dönüşüm süreci hızlanmış; özellikle muhasebe ve finans sektöründe, geleneksel iş yapma biçimlerinin hızla dijital çözümlerle yer değiştirmesi gerekliliği doğmuştur. Yapılan çalışmada, Covid-19 pandemisinin muhasebe ve finans sektöründeki dijital dönüşüm üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Pandeminin başlangıcından itibaren sektördeki iş süreçlerinin nasıl dijitalleştirildiği, bu süreçlerin sektöre kattığı yenilikler ve yapay zekânın bu dönüşümdeki rolü ele alınmıştır. Bununla birlikte, bu dijital dönüşümün uzun vadeli etkilerinin ne olacağı ve gelecekte muhasebe ile finans uygulamalarındaki değişimlerin nasıl gelişeceği incelenmiştir. Dijital dönüşümün finansal yönetim, muhasebe uygulamaları ve risk yönetimi gibi temel alanlardaki sektörel faydaları incelenerek, Covid-19’un iş süreçlerini nasıl hızlandırıp dönüştürdüğü ortaya konulacaktır. Ayrıca, pandemi sürecinde benimsenen dijital çözümlerin sektördeki iş yapış biçimlerini nasıl yeniden şekillendirebileceğine dair öngörülerde bulunulacaktır.

Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic, which rapidly spread globally since the end of 2019, has become a historical turning point due to its impact on global health, the economy, and society. This extraordinary situation has made the critical role of digitalization and technology in the business world more evident. As a result of the Covid-19 impact, the digital transformation process has accelerated in many sectors, particularly in the accounting and finance sector, where the need to rapidly replace traditional business practices with digital solutions has emerged. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the digital transformation in the accounting and finance sector. It discusses how business processes in the sector have been digitalized since the beginning of the pandemic, the innovations brought by these processes, and the role of artificial intelligence in this transformation. Additionally, the long-term effects of this digital transformation and how changes in accounting and finance practices will evolve in the future have been explored. By examining the sectoral benefits of digital transformation in key areas such as financial management, accounting practices, and risk management, the study will highlight how Covid-19 accelerated and transformed business processes. Furthermore, predictions will be made on how the digital solutions adopted during the pandemic might reshape business practices in the sector.
